How does lymphatic and compression massage work?

Treatment with compression pants

Lymphatic and compression massage, after the Danish doctor, Dr. The Vodders method is massage with slow pulsating pressure around the lower body. The lymph and compression massage, with gentle pressure, will help the lymph fluid away from the places in the body where the lymph glands do not work or have been completely removed, and towards functioning lymph. The treatment gives immediate results and users experience a significant reduction in fluid retention and a marked improvement in mobility, already after the first treatment.

Treatment with a compression jacket The compression
jacket is particularly suitable for treating people who suffer from lymphoedema, for example after radiotherapy and surgery.
The jacket directs the excess fluid away from the swollen area in the same way as the compression pants, and the user will be able to carry out tasks with significantly less discomfort and pain to a much greater extent after the treatment.

How does the treatment take place?

The treatment takes place with air pressure of up to 140 mmhg, via the 24 channels. Each channel is inflated with a controlled pressure and can be adjusted along the way. The treatment begins at the feet and moves upwards. Then come the calves, knees, thighs and on to the hips and stomach. Along the way, each of the 24 chambers is pulse-massaged to loosen toxins and waste substances that have accumulated in the body. Blood circulation increases during the treatment, which reduces fatigue and soreness in the muscles.

How is the body affected?

After just one treatment, the user will feel well-being and lightness in the body, and feel the good results very quickly.

Many people experience swollen and fluid-filled arms and legs after surgery, e.g. cancer, where radiotherapy in particular can lead to accumulation of lymph fluid, to great inconvenience. The treatment also works as an effective means of improved recovery, as the body’s cells achieve faster oxygenation during the treatment, which causes the body to heal faster. When the user heals faster, the risk of inflammation is minimized and thus complications are limited.

The dermis and epidermis, the layers of the skin, stick together faster when we are exposed to compresses, which means that scar tissue heals faster and looks nicer.

After treatment with compression massage,
you will experience a great improvement. The treatment will feel like an external heart, gently increasing blood circulation while adding pressure to the veins. The cleansing of toxins increases and you get more oxygen to the skin cells.

Most people are familiar with compression massage, where pressure on the body relieves tension and water retention. Compression massage helps the body to recover faster and contributes to a shorter healing time for injuries. Lymphatic massage is extremely suitable for draining fluid accumulations in the lymph if the lymphatic system has been damaged by e.g. operations or radiotherapy.

Digestive system

The compression massage puts light pressure on the stomach and the result is that the user relaxes in the stomach region while the muscles are stimulated in a healing way. This provides a more efficient discharge of waste substances, which helps the healing process. The treatment has a rapid effect on the user who suffers from constipation or who has frequent toilet visits.

The lymphatic system

Flow of the lymphatic fluid is increased in both the superficial and the deeper lymphatic system. The result of the treatment is that the cleansing of the metabolic residues increases and boosts the immune system so that the user can better resist diseases.

Muscles

The machine massages the muscles and the peristaltic movements cause the muscles to relax and be emptied of excess fluid. This fluid causes the muscles that are trying to relax to often go into spasms instead.
